IPDR animal health workers reached herders with vaccination and treatment for donkeys and other livestock.
IPDR's community animal health workers took vaccination and treatment services directly to herders during a recent outreach in Turkana County. Animals were examined, vaccinated and marked so that owners and health workers can track who has been treated.
Herders gathered under the acacia trees to watch the work, ask questions and learn how to care for their animals between visits.
